The price of resin has increased, therefore there will be an industry wide stretch film price increase of 7% Starting Dec. 27. Stretch film manufacturers that will effected are: Sigma, Western Plastics, AEP, Interplast, Paragon, Intertape, and Polar.

The Dow Chemical Company has also indicated that because of operational difficulties some select grades of Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) will not be available.
